Newborns

First appointment:

Congratulations on your new baby!

Most newborns should be seen in the office one to three days after discharge from the hospital or birth center.

Please complete the new patient registration forms prior to your child’s first visit.

Lactation support: Need help breastfeeding? Dr. Lustre is passionate about supporting parents in their breastfeeding journey. We offer assistance with:

• Assessing infant latch and milk transfer

• Evaluating weight gain

• Strategies for maintaining or building milk supply

• Care for discomfort or pain with breastfeeding

• And more…. Please reach out if you have a specific concern or question!

Transferring Care?

We are happy to be accepting new patients of all ages and look forward to meeting your family.

• Please take a moment to review our vaccine policy to help decide if we are a good fit.

• We try to keep an updated listed of in-network insurance plans, however it is your responsibility to confirm your benefits/coverage.

• Please fill out the authorization for release of medical records and submit to the practice that you intend to transfer from so that they can fax us your child’s medical records. These records are required prior to your child’s first visit with East Nashville Pediatrics.

• Please complete the new patient registration form.

• If your child has TennCare, please call your plan to designate East Nashville Pediatrics as your primary care provider.

• Finally, give us a call at (615)882-4900 to schedule your first appointment. Please have your child’s insurance information available when you call.
